Country pub in the Peak District

The Old Hall is a strong supporter of local Peak District breweries and has a strong beer trade, showcases a dozen or so different local beers every week. Marstons is the only regular beer to be found with others changing daily. During the summer months we also have another two hand pulls dedicated to real cider, again changing often.

Thornbridge brewery thornbridge Thornbridge Brewery is a successful local brewery based about twenty minutes away in Bakewell, brewing the famous Jaipur. We permanently have at least one of their beers on our bar and work closely with them during our various beer festivals

Other local breweries that feature regularly are: Abbeydale, Bollington, Bradfield, Brampton, Hornbean, Howard Town, Kelham Island, Marble, Phoenix, Storm, Whim, Marstons & a whole host of others…if you think you know a good one contact us!

and of course, the Wine!

The Old Hall has teamed up with Terry Pattison of "Goyt Wines" to bring you an outstanding selection of wines from small producers around the world. These often unknown producers provide excellent interest and value and every couple of months as part of our informal Wine & Dine events, the growers and importers join us at the Old Hall to present their own wines.
Our Wine & Dine events are kept small and therefore sell out very quickly, so the mailing list is often the best way to find out about them first and book your place.
