Peak District Restaurant

Eating at the Old Hall

The menu changes daily as we prepare from fresh every day, using local produce from the best suppliers and farms. Our menu is kept small, but gives a choice of traditional pub food along with more gourmet choices if you fancy something special. Its fresh, simple, great value and we hope you’ll agree, delicious.

The Minstrels Gallery

In an attempt to reduce the waiting list for tables, the Old Hall Inn opened the doors to the 16th Century Minstrels Gallery which forms part of the adjacent Whitehough Hall, an Elizabethan Manor House that was rebuilt in 1559. This now forms the main feature of the restaurant and you can find more information about the building itself on our history page.

The Gallery has been tastefully refurbished with solid elm banquet tables and tall back leather chairs, which perfectly compliment the roaring fire, the Oak rafters and the fantastic oak gallery. The Minstrels Gallery is open for dining every day and is the home to many of our events, giving us a fantastic venue to show case our local produce.

Private Dining

Whitehough Hall offers a unique atmosphere which few places can match for small functions or informal gatherings.
In order to ensure that we can meet the same high standards of food quality that our customers have come to expect, we plan the menu individually to ensure that it’s tailored to your needs and deliverable based on the party size.

For more details or to discuss your requirements please contact
Dan Capper or Laura Cole on 01663 750529.

We also have a Private Dining brochure available which contains more information about the dining experience which can be downloaded by clicking here.
