"WOW....LOVED IT
The staff here have really given thought to pandemic dining experience. It was raining hard today, as it often does round here, so we were a bit dubious about dining in the garden; being cold and wet. We were very pleasantly surprised. The eating area is fully covered and protected from the wind. We were given blankets and hot water bottles to keep warm and there were patio heaters too. I feel the cold and I honestly say I was lovely and toasty warm. The food was incredible (steak and ale pie) served in boxes which kept the food piping hot. We have often dined here and this pandemic experience was as good as our experiences prior to Covid"

Huge thanks to Dan and staff for a wonderful night out. The pizza was thin delicious and best tasting pizza ever and better than pizza eaten in Italy. Ordered 3 different types. The umbria just melted in your mouth. The mozzarella and tomato salad and garlic mushrooms together with tiramisu was delicious- so tasty.
The decor is hip and the place has a really wonderful vibe. Great atmosphere, lovely staff. You need to visit because you’ll definitely want to go back. Huge thanks and see you soon

Can’t recommend the Old Hall highly enough. We’ve eaten here a lot lately and always find an excuse to book in again before we leave! Locally sourced great ingredients that are always put together thoughtfully. The menu is always excellent, traditional but with every element (and I mean that) adding something special. "
