Above the Old Hall INN
Take a look at our rooms located above the Old Inn. Build as a couching Inn in the early 1800's it was later adjoined to the 16th Century Whitehough Hall next door, very much creating a building of two halves.
Above the Paper Mill Inn
Take a look at our rooms located above The Paper Mill Inn. Our sister pub just across the road was originally purchased by a local paper mill owner and converted into a tavern for his work force, in 1860 it became the meeting place of The Oddfellows Society, changing its name to the Oddfellows arms. Our recent purchase of the Inn has seen its name returned & transformed in to a lively ale house and informal eatery, with a fresh and industrial look. Please note that a full house and stone flag floors mean that you will hear the hum of a full bar below, until closing. Last orders & background music off 11pm midweek, Midnight at weekends. Max 1hr drinking/clearing time.
Around the hamlet
Take a look at our rooms/studios/self catering cottages around the picturesque hamlet of Whitehough. All located within a hundred yards of the two Inn's so you can still enjoy all the facilities, including a lovely cooked breakfast in the Hall as we don't insist you 'self cater'. Perfect if you need that extra space!
The Cress Annex
This is a cosy 'Air B&B style' room to the rear of the managers cottage. What the room lacks in size it more than makes up for in quirky style and great views of cracken edge. (we reserve the right to move annex bookings into the main Inn's when required)
Located to the rear of the Managers Cottage
The larger of our two cottages, Shepherds cottage has three double bedrooms (one with a shower cubicle that can be set as either a twin or double room) and a shared bathroom (with roll top bath and shower). Down stairs is a large large kitchen, seperate dining room with log burner, downstairs toilet and living room with an additional log burner
Located 100 yards from the Old Hall Inn
