CHEF
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established, talented team of chefs that serve two very different kitchens. High end pub classics and rosetted standard daily specials at our main restaurant in the old hall inn, and our pop up creative kitchens at our sister pub next door, the paper mill inn. We have a hard won reputation for our outstanding quality food and customer service. We have immaculate kitchens with a purpose build prep kitchen, having seen huge investment over the last few years. The 'stand out' opportunity here is joining a team where we have an inclusive approach, allowing chefs at all levels have an active role in the direction of the kitchen, pushing their skills whilst having the backing of our senior chefs. We have gone to huge lengths to ensure a proper work life balance is maintained in what is a challenging, but rewarding industry. All our chefs as a minimum have three nights off a week, as well as the option of having a regular Friday, Saturday or Sunday off. We are advertising this role with a genuinely open approach to the seniority of the chef applicant. We have a strong team, that would welcome the chance to develop the skills of a less experienced chef, one who brings the right work ethic and attitude to learn and develop or a senior chef who wants to settle into a kitchen that shows as much care for its team as it does for driving business and the perfect place to bring their skills and creativity. We invite you to meet the team, view our operation and we are confident that you will understand the unique opportunity we have to offer. We are only looking for applicants that share our passion for quality, our strong work ethic and that share the importance we put on maintaining a positive and pleasant working environment for the team as a whole. This position is an addition to our team, rather than a replacement and as such we have flexibility in start dates as our importance is placed firmly with finding the right candidate to continue our growth and to ensure we maintain and improve further the flexibility we can offer our chef team.

The Beer & Wine
We have been named CAMRA regional pub of the year numerous times, and have been in the final for 'The Great Britishs Ale pub of the year' a couple of times.
