About Us

Our Pizza

Our pizzas are cooked in a traditional Valoriani wood-fired oven; the same family has been making these ovens in Italy since 1890. Each one is built to deliver the perfect, crispy base and smoky flavour you only get from real wood-fire cooking.

We’re hiring Weekend Bar Staff & Housekeeping Staff at The Old Hall Inn, Chinley — a chance to join a team in one of the Peak District’s most beloved country inns. If you’re 18+, experienced, and love good service, we want you!

Loads of character & history: This is a 16th-century coaching inn nestled in Whitehough, Chinley. Old beams, stone mullioned windows, little window seats, oak four-poster beds, cosy fireplaces — it’s charming, warm, and full of atmosphere.

Great food & drink: We’re known for our seasonal, locally-sourced menu (you’ll see classic favourites done really well: our suet pudding is almost legendary around here). The bar has a fantastic range of real ales, ciders, wines, and gins.

Amazing location: Set at the edge of the Peak District, just a short walk (≈10 minutes) from Chinley train station. It’s perfect for people who love countryside walks, breathtaking views, and being part of a place that welcomes visitors from near and far.
