At the heart of Whitehough is the Old Hall Inn, a former coaching inn dating back to the 1300s. Think oak beams, roaring fires, and a dramatic Elizabethan dining hall. Step outside to find a walled beer garden with views of Chinley Head – the perfect backdrop to a summer pint.
Just across the lane is The Paper Mill, offering a more informal, modern setting. Still great food. Still great beer. Still that Peak District magic.
